On Wednesday, July 27, 2022, the first of the three-day event of the “I Costa del Sol Concours d'Elegance” was held at the Villa Padierna golf course.

This first day was reserved solely and exclusively for Hypercar owners and access to the press or public was not allowed, due to the condition of discretion requested by several of the participating owners.

The cars arrived throughout the day, some by truck and others by road, to the lawn of the aforementioned venue, remaining parked in their exhibition space until 6:30 p.m.

in which the doors would be opened to all participants, some of them arrived driving their own vehicles. Attendees were able to taste the exquisite catering served by the restaurant team of the Anantara 5* G.L. Hotel.

while the select judges (journalists and personalities from the motor world) evaluated the competing hypercars.

After a difficult deliberation by the judges, due to the very high level of participating cars, the lucky winners collected the prizes next to the lake of the Villa Padierna golf course.

After thanking the participants and collaborators under a beautiful sunset, the attendees moved to the Imperial Room of the Anantara 5* G.L. Hotel. to enjoy haute cuisine in a setting of true luxury.

During the dinner tasting you could enjoy a beautiful flamenco show that put the finishing touch to the first day of the Costa del Sol Concours d'Elegance.


Thursday, July 28, A2022 was the summit day of the three days of the “I Costa del Sol Concours d'Elegance” since it coincided with the “V Anniversary of Magna Super Cars”, which is the pioneer of this event.

As had already been done in the four previous editions, the place chosen was the Magna Marbella golf course, just 100 meters from the official headquarters of Magna Super Cars.

On one side you could see the sea and on the other the beautiful urbanization of Magna Marbella with the La Concha mountain behind it.




Throughout the day the Magna Super Cars team was taking cars from their facilities to the event site and it was only at 6:30 p.m.

hen the more than 400 guests began to arrive little by little with their almost 200 historic, classic and sports cars.

Some participants allowed themselves the luxury of sending their cars by truck and arriving themselves by helicopter.

Like the previous day, access was only possible with accreditation but in this case access was allowed to the media, such as Informativos Tele 5 and Canal Sur Televisión, among others.



The cars were parked by color, to avoid favoritism when managing parking spaces, except for cars from before 1960 that had an area reserved for them and the Hypercars,

They also had another reserved and limited area. With a program very similar to the previous day, but changing the location, attendees had time to eat and drink while the judges inspected

and they selected the best units from the categories that were not present the previous day. A live music and dance show enlivened the evening for those present.

More than a dozen gastronomic stands were present during the afternoon to entertain the participants: oysters, caviar, champagne, exotic fruits and sushi, among many other appetizers that captured the attention of the attendees,

almost as much as the most expensive and exclusive cars present there.

Next to the food stalls there was a chill out area where you could watch the music show and the subsequent car parade in front of the judges.

At that moment in the parade, the drivers could give the latest information about their cars presented in the competition just before the awards ceremony began.

The jury composed from left to right by the famous international journalist Ian Kuah, Vidal Castro, former president of the Andalusian Automobile Federation; Keko Romero, content director of the Motor Guide;

Iñigo Olaizola, expert in Retromobile classics; and Jesús Bonilla, director of the magazine Motor Clásico of the MPIB group. During the parade you could see jewels on wheels such as a Bugatti from the year 37 in impeccable condition.


The awards ceremony with cold fires in the background as props was the apotheosis moment where it was finally possible to know which cars had been selected as winners by the team of judges.
Once the awards ceremony was over, all attendees went up to the Magna Café restaurant to enjoy dinner and comment on the most beautiful moments of the day.




On Friday, July 29, the final awards ceremony party was held in the most emblematic and famous place on the Costa del Sol, Puerto Banús.

A selection of the most spectacular participating units traveled there, such as Fernando Alonso's Formula 1, the Lamborghini Aventador J, Bugatti Chiron, McLaren Senna, LaFerrari Aperta...

and the two absolute winners of the Best Of Show (B.O.S.) on a red carpet.

During the pleasant evening you could enjoy some snacks and beautiful views of the Port and the mountains.

The directors of Puerto Banús presented the two B.O.S. awards. along with the fireworks that had been prepared for the occasion and that put an end to three dream days for motor lovers.
